At Mosaic+ Dispensary we have devised an efficient shorthand scale based on cannabinoid ratios and terpene profiles from lab analyses and our own anecdotal evidence from consumption to help guide you, the patient, to the most efficacious medicine possible.
We call it the Spectrum of Effects.
Here’s the deal: “Indica” and “Sativa” are scientific terms describing the morphology of the plant (i.e. what the plant physically looks like); however, despite popular usage, those terms were not coined to describe the experience individuals have while using cannabis. (Check out our post diving into the science of Indica and Sativa if you want to learn more) The important word here is “individual” because we are all different and so are each of our endocannabinoid systems. You are uniquely you. Your homeostasis and therapeutic needs may be different from mine. That means we could share the same blunt of beautiful Resonant Cultivation or High Rise flower (shameless plug) and have two totally different experiences.
This is where the Spectrum of Effects comes in.
